Charity Ball, for St Luke’s Hospice

Raising Funds for a Good Cause.

All arrived to attend a lavish ball at The Drum, to raise funds for a much needed charity. There is no government funding so this is just one of the ways it raises its funds to sustain the brilliant Hospice based in Harr0w. As a local girl it seems only right that I do something to assist this much respected and brilliant resource. So here I am as Guest of Honour at the drum with some lovely people attending. My books were auctioned IMG_2124 IMG_2100 Here I present my book collection,  The Adventures of Tom McGuire to the representative at St Luke’s as a donation to raise money for the charity a couple of weeks prior to the event.

So here I am enjoying the singing, the food and the brilliant Speaker Peter Nicholls and the company of some very special people at St Luke’s.

All students had an opportunity to speak with the Author not only during the lesson periods but also during lunchtime and many had questions to ask about how to become an author.ACS-shakespeare4

She captures the soul of young Tom’s courage and determination as he struggles in battle against the evils that plague his universe.
